Windows 2016 - Java Agent - Logs seem to have strange file types

As can be seen from the attached image, log files for the Java Agent in Windows 2016 have a strange type (e.g. debug,out has the file type "OUT File")

The problem with this if you click on it you get the message "Windows can't open this type of file (.out)"

Although if you have notepad++ you can open it.

For comparison, the tomcat logs are all of the type Text Document (see attached file)

Note that for the Agent installer logs we seen to have some text documents and others with strange file types suggesting it is due to the filename. (see attached file)
