In a recent changed, without really thinking about it, I changed the name of the installer log file from the existing ".log" suffix to have a ".txt" suffix.
This was to make the installer consistent with the Agent (whose log files were similarly changed a year or two back).
Customers may be surprised at this change of file name. It was originally demanded by customers using Windows because the ".log" suffix is not registered with windows and so clicking on a ".log" file does nothing by default. By changing the suffix to ".txt" they can at least click and find themselves in Notepad or something similar.
