Description
Bug description
Self-Service user registration with email verification results in an unclear error message if a user ID already exists.
When the user clicks the email link, they see (again) the registration fields which are all empty. An alert box reads "Detected conflict in request".
How to reproduce the issue
- Enable Email Service and Self-Service User Registration with Email Verification enabled.
- Register a user that already exists. E.g. 'demo' with email address
- Click registration link in email.
Expected behaviour
The user should be informed at some point that the requested registration userID already exists.
Current behaviour
An unclear (or in some cases non-existent - see comments) error message.
