      Description

While attempting to build a SAML Node, I found that there are two reasons that the SAML Node needs access to the HttpServletRequest and HttpServletResponse:

      1. If a customer has a SAML2ServiceProviderAdapter registered, the request and response are needed as parameters to call that class.
      2. When the SAML redirect happens back from the IdP, the authenticationStep cookie needs to be set in the client's browser so that the SAML2Proxy can identify where in the authentication journey the end user is.
