      Description

If possible, and without breaking any Standard or Functional Requirement(s) for Session Management; a customer needs a way (via console or CREST/curl) to refresh, reset or recalculate
REALM! > Sessions > UNAME!, SESSION TIME REMAINING = COUNTDOWN! (min & sec).

Currently, the _action=validate has a switch to Skip updating Session idle time when an amadmin fires a curl command and appends &refresh=false.  The default is "true", hence without the parameter in play (&refresh=true) the user will reset the idleTime (VALUE!=0), and the IDLE TIME REMAINING will reflect this reset as well.  However, the Session itself seems bound to CREATED time, thus the SESSION TIME REMAINING is not touched (maybe by design!) and continues to count down from the original session start timestamp.  That might need to remain unique per Session, but I'm not sure.

           Further justification:

We need a "keep me logged in" functionality controlled by a checkbox next to login/password fields. If it is checked then we must keep session for 2 weeks. We need to recreate this functionality because it is how it currently works in a legacy system.

Please let us know if more information is needed for further consideration.
