In 6.5 separate server IDs are assigned to each replication domain.
This task can be closed once:
- servers are only identified by a single server ID (the global server ID)
- per-domain server IDs are removed
- 6.5 servers can be upgraded gracefully
- users can choose a server ID during setup although the tool will provide them with a generated default.
