In IDM 6.5 Integrator's Guide 15.2.2. Creating Connector Configurations With the Admin UI
The connectors displayed on the Connectors page reflect the provisioner files that are in your project's conf/ directory. To add a new connector configuration, you can also copy a provisioner file from the /path/to/openidm/samples/example-configurations/provisioners directory, then edit it to fit your deployment.
When you add a new connector, the Connector Type dropdown list reflects the actual connector JARs that are in the /path/to/openidm/connectors directory.
However, scripted connectors such as Groovy, Scripted CREST, Scripted REST, Scripted SQL and others are not available in the drop down list of connectors in the Admin UI.
There should be a note to explain that as these scripted connectors can have a significant amount of custom configuration changes required, a comprehensive HTML template to cover all such permutations for a scripted connector would be very difficult to provide.
Instead, to add a scripted connector, example provisioner configurations are available from ../openidm/samples/example-configurations/provisioners which can be placed directly into the ../openidm/conf directory after appropriate changes have been made.
