With a non-local project, update is not updating default OpenIDM project directory

    Details

    • Type: Bug
    • Status: Closed
    • Priority: Major
    • Resolution: Fixed
    • Affects Version/s: OpenIDM 4.5.0
    • Fix Version/s: OpenIDM 5.0.0
    • Component/s: _Update
    • Environment:
      4.0.0-1 (build 9), 4.0.0-2 (build 13), 4.5.0-RC7

      Description

When using a non-local project like /home/project to run OpenIDM 4.0.0, the update updates the files in the /home/project/conf/ folder, but the default OpenIDM configuration files (in openidm/conf) are not updated. Users might expect that our /openidm/conf contains the new default configuration for OpenIDM after update so this could be a problem. If a user wanted to initiate a new project, they could not copy the /openidm/conf folder because this one would be obsolete.
