The use of JWT tokens with MS Outlook 2007 & 2010 is incompatible - the token URL generated is too long for Outlook to handle. This is a known bug / issue with MS Outlook 2007/10.
When resetting a password using Self Service, the validation email link created by the jwt token in IDM is too long for Outlook to handle. The link cannot be clicked.
A workaround is to change the HTML template to display the full URL, and a message to Copy & Paste the URL if using Outlook.
We need a way to shorten this URL so that it's compatible with Outlook 07/10
