[OPENAM-15267] Global collection (annotated) services do not render in the UI Created: 25/Jul/19 Updated: 29/Jan/20 Resolved: 29/Jan/20
|Component/s:||console, sms, XUI|
|Affects Version/s:||14.5.0, 5.5.1, 6.0.0, 6.5.0, 7.0.0|
|Remaining Estimate:||Not Specified|
|Time Spent:||Not Specified|
|Original Estimate:||Not Specified|
There exists a single instance of an SMS service which is both "Global" (not Realm and Global) and a Collection. This is the new-for-7.0.0 CorsService. This service operates as expected, however it does not render a UI entry. This is likely an oversight of the development of the SMS framework.
Install AM, look for the CorsService in the interface, it doesn't exist. You can however communicate with the REST endpoints and the service(s) generated execute as expected.

Multiple global service instances is a new concept to the SMS/config layer and due to the changes being made to the Cors services to no longer need this behaviour I'm closing this as won't do for the time being. We may revisit the config layer concepts in the near future.
