Currently there is no REST endpoint for manipulating Session properties:

  • delete session property
  • retrieve session properties (partially implemented in idsvcs#read)
  • set session property

It may would be also good to implement it leveraging the delegation system (create new assignable privileges for it, and enforce them).

I would like to have this functionality available as I have had some project in which we did just this, adding information to a session from another web application using REST. For now we implemented a authentication module to for fill this need but would be better to have this as part of the standard REST interface. Further it would be nice if it will be somehow possible to see what is on the session using the console (maybe in the session tab by clicking on the sessions showed there and should be turned of by default just like the ssoadm page)
