Found using OpenDJ 4.0.0 RC5.

Found this issue while validating the MSI package for which the default the installation is "C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenDJ".
After installation with MSI package, I tried to setup an instance and the server failed to start:

for a detailed log of the failed operation.
Please report this error and provide the log file mentioned above.

The start-ds.bat fails (as well as all our of bat scripts) when an instance absolute path contains parenthesis:
The error in the log can be reproduced by trying to launch any bat script :

C:\ Program Files (x86)\OpenDJ>bat\ldapsearch,bat
\OpenDJ\lib\..\config\java.properties""' was unexpected at this time.
