Documentation of the feature itself is being addressed in OPENIDM-10982 (PR), and the dev JIRA is OPENIDM-10842 (PR).

In order for the feature to work, the user's repo.jdbc.json or repo.ds-external.json file will need to be updated to include the synchronization/queue mapping, and the repo database itself will need the new queuedsyncobjects and queuedsyncobjectproperties tables.

(Update: this shifted due to later work: it looks like there's now only one additional table, syncqueue, and the repo.x.json now has sync/queue as an explicit mapping instead of generic.}} PR is here.)
