Story Points: 3
Sprint: OpenIDM Sprint 6.5-9, OpenIDM Sprint 6.5-10.1
Epic Link: IDM Upgrade improvements

In order to facilitate upgrade from legacy IDM releases to the current IDM release, customers require the ability to migrate their existing managed object data including links and relationships to the new IDM instance. The implementation of OPENIDM-1089 will enable the use of reconciliation for the purposes of data migration but does not address the need to transform legacy data as required by the new system.

In order to facilitate transformation of legacy OpenIDM objects, the current IDM release should bundle one or more scripts capable of transforming data objects from earlier OpenIDM releases.

At a minimum the OOTB scripts should be able to handle transformations of:

  • managed users
  • managed roles
  • links
  • relationships
  • internal users
  • internal roles
